i was testing.. 45 min to install and 30 min to uninstall...wtf..

I just installed it on a very basic PC (celeron, 2GB, G31 mobo, 320GB hd) took about 5 mins

I presume you are using windows 7 x64? And you downloaded the x64 version of the Office 2010
