Here's my Rig #1 (sorry it's 4am so i'll add them in the morning)
must be very long days in ur place:lol:
some more pics...
Unfortunatly i needed to get this pc up and running quickly at the time, so didn't have chance to route the cables properly. I'm just waiting for some Fuzion V2's to become available agian so i can stripe it down and get the loop and cabling how i want it. Plus update mobo, cpu and gfx. Though i'm not sure about the mobo yet as it's the only DDR3 ROG board, the rest are DDR2, i'm considering putting a ROG P45 in there, but i don't know. Hopefully they'll bring out a ddr3 version soon!
I've nearly got everything to start the rebuild, so project log to come soon
EDIT: I'm just going to wait for Eddy (EK) to send me a Acetal top for the Nickel plated 4870X2 block i just bought - Black & Chrome will look sweet
I'll be starting the rebuild at some point this week
Finally got round to start putting Rig 1 together - air cooled first, to iron out an issues then on to cutting a couple of holes - one for the 24 pin ATX in the mobo tray and i also need to make the slot i cut to route the 8 pin ATX cable slightly longer.
Then i can fit all the watercooling bits, i really need to work out the fan cabling and find the best spot, that's good for case and rad fans to meet at the BigNG
Please excuse the state of the rear fan cables, looking for some different 92mm fans so i can braid them, and still have the PC running (only downtime - swapping them over :D )
I think i will buy the latest nVidia card when i rebuild it, dam it's come down nearly £100 since i last looked - :up2:
Anyway here are a couple of pics of it air cooled - specs as Rig 1 in my sig, and that's that new Zalman CPNS9900 seems very good
You not fancy painting or powder coating the inside of the case m8?
yeah I think i will when i strip it back for the watercooling
Might as well if your stripping the case down....looks so much better.
Yeah black inside would hide some of the cables
Very nice mate :)
