I'm going to add a SSD to this next week, I have my eye on getting one of these
OCZ Vertex 3 MAX IOPS Edition 240 GB
Just one for the moment, as I still have a couple of things I need to get for the other PC I'm rebuilding.

Was just about to pull the trigger on the OCZ but do i buy a
Corsair Force 3 240GB
or go with my original idea and a
OCZ Vertex 3 240GB MAX IOPS
From what I have read to date is get the OCZ, I'm gonna see what else I can find.
Well, I think I'm going to get the Corsair Force 3 or the GT version when I can get some stock - hopefully on monday :)
I can't find any reviews atm, but the specs are roughly the same as the OCZ MAX IOPS so should be good.
Still no stock of the Corsair Force 3, and more stock of the OCZ MAX IOPS isn't due til the 30th June so either way I have to wait :S :(
So I'm going to hold fire till I can get one of these...
Corsair Force 3 Series SSD - 240 GB - SATA-600
Or the GT version - still waiting for some reviews.
Didn't Corsair recall all of the Force 3 SSD's?

Seems only the 120GB is affected.
Ah right yeah that explains alot; none of our suppliers have the 120GB listed, not even on pre-order.
Dam man, supplier says 30th July (confirmed) for the Force 3 :(
W00t supplier has 8 Corsair Force 3 240GB SSDs in stock now, So they should be here friday (including mine :) ) I don't think I caught next day as I only just got the email.
Well blow me down, the Corsair Force 3's arrived this morning, I think I ordered them at about 6pm so that's very good
I'll get that installed later and move the 640GB's into the CM-690 II #2 and I can get on that project too, atleast I/we didn't have to wait till the 30th July.
I'll get some pictures posted on Tuesday, I'm just waiting for a couple of bits.
Some more pictures
When I was replacing the HD cage I trapped my neatly braided cable, so I had to re-braid it last night, and while I was at it I thought I would put the cage the right way round lol...
Out of interest, why do you braid your cables?
Why do you braid your hair Mark??
Because you asked me too for your Date Night with Dave.
I've got a windowed side panel coming in the next few days, then I'm going to see what I can do to the original.
But that''ll have to wait till after I get it water cooled.
mark stay away from the beer
Cabling looks first class Lloyd.....wish i had the patience to do that to mine.....sadly i used paint. :)
Cheers mate :)
Yeah I want to get it powder coated/painted, maybe matt black outside and gloss black inside or vice versa, I also thought about doing the center "stripe" either matt or gloss, but we'll see.
My main priority atm is getting all 3 PC room PC's running again, then I'll come back to this to wc it.
No i meant i actually used paint on my ATX cable to hide all the different coloured wires ha ha.
I got my windowed side panel this morning, but it's a tight fit. I'll get some pictures up later
It's nice when it's tight. :)
Here's some pic's with my new side panel....
Excellent job Lloyd, nice and neat. :)
Cheers mate, OCD does have it's perks hehe
Funny i have just posted about my ocd on my clan forum about one of the guys desks being covered in shit, and also his desktop was covered in random icons, i would hate to see the inside of his pc. :)
Yeah LOL, I can't stand a messy desk or anything for that matter. I have several mates who think it's hilarious to move my nice straight coffee table when I leave the room :S
I have got another 8GB of Corsair Vengeance for this, but I can't use it till I get it watercooled as the Corsair A50 CPU Cooler is in the way of the first dimm slot, so I'm gonna use it in my CM-690 II #2 PC assuming it will take 16GB lol.
EDIT: no it doesn't support 16GB, dam!
I've just installed an EVGA GTX 680 Superclocked, I'll post some pictures and benchmark results later on
Some pictures with the EVGA GTX 680 SC...
