Yeah it would "support" it, but not to it's fullest spec as the motherboard uses and older version of PCI-Express.
A friend of mine is running a ATI HD5850 on a P35 motherboard and his PC is fine.
Something I would check out is if your PC came with that motherboard was it supplied with a good enough power supply to run that card.
If I was you I would be looking to upgrade motherboard , CPU and RAM, which would probably entail getting a decent case and PSU too, see previous paragraph.
Well, I'm using a 650W power supply now.
Do Kingston even do PSU's?
