[Build Log] Coolermaster CM-690 II #2

This is going to replace my last Akasa Eclipse, so I'm going to use the q9550 and Rampage Extreme I have left over after upgrading my main rig to i7.

8GB Corsair Vengence
Asus Geforce GTX 570 (to buy)
Asus Xonar DX PCI-E (to buy)
3x 640GB WD SATA II RAID 0
Corsair AX750
Corsair A50
Coolermaster CM-690 II

One of the CM-690's I have I plan to water cool, but that will have to wait until I have finished the upgrades.
I should have the parts I need to start this next week.

Could have sworn I had a Corsair HX750 here, I'll have to add that to the shopping list.

Just ordered a Corsair AX750, then I can get it, the motherboard and CPU installed.

Dam PSU, the 8pin is way to short (I think Steve had the same issue), the HX750 has a decent length to it.

Im going to use the 3x 640GB drives from rig one (when my SSD gets here), I just need the GTX 570 now.

I think i'm going to get one of the Asus GTX 570 DirectCU II, I have added a link to the first post.
Something I need to find out first is if the heat sink has reference mounts - I doubt it but I live in hope.
If not I'll probably just get their plain version, as I want t o water cool this PC at a later date.

I'm going to make up my mind and "order" my grpahics card next week, get this PC back up and running before I go any further with my TJ07 project.
I will probably get the Asus Direct CU II :) lol

Finally got round to getting myself a Asus Geforce GTX 570 Direct CU II, I thought they looked big in the pictures, but in the flesh it's massive lol.
I'm looking forward to seeing how good these new coolers are.

I do wish Asus would sell both reference and directcu versions, at one point we could get both without problem. There's most definetly a market for both.

I will get some pictures posted later (when I get my camera back from my mother).

Nearly finished off the cabling, just need to braid the rear fan cable tomorrow...

I just added a couple more pics to the above posts while I was installing Windows on this PC.
I haven't got round to braiding the cable on the rear fan yet. Unfortunatly I completely forgot about the top 140mm fan so that may have to wait depending on accessability.
So far everything is running well.
