what did ya join? BOINC ones are the best coz u can add different projects.
IMO WCG(runs through the BOINC App) is the best as you can just select to crunch for cancer, though i select all projects.
But i also like to run rosseta as well, but kept getting random crashes, as i mention it i will add the project again :up:

Im tempted to bung the app on my server at work as that spend most of the night doing nothing!!

I'm crunching on my bedroom pc, rig 1 and rig 3 atm, :up: Did over a hundred hours yesterday :D

I am trying to sort out a team for Milkyway@home as you can specify it to only use your GPUs, so while WCG is using my CPUs my GPUs are mapping the galaxy Star Trek FTW lol
The team for Milkyway will be live soon, when I tried to attach to it last night it said something about needing 1.3 so i need to find out what that was about and then I'll get the team sorted :up:

Joined, I used to run Folding@home on my old PC however changed it when I only had a laptop as didnt want to fry the machine.

Will stick it on my linux webserver over the next few weeks.

Yeah F@H was the first one I used back when I had a Vapochill XE and LS, but I prefer WCG due to the range of projects they have, plus the range of external projects you can connect to via the BOINC app it uses.

Our Team total is currently 3,611,290 points. Lets try and get that over 4million asap :up:

I'm gonna make a push on Conquer Cancer and Clean Energy. I'm at 297 days on CC and want to get that over 1 year asap. Then I'll go back to crunching all projects.

I'm looking forward to WCG being able to use GPUs, I hear that is coming soon YAY :up2:

I just have my Q9400 and QX6700 crunching atm, will get the E6850 started again tomorrow. And the Q9550 sometime soon.

I've been doing it for about a day now, my points are going up in my profile but not on our teams stats page here. Does it just need to update? At the moment im on 26k here but our team page says I'm on 22k.

Yeah it needs to update itself, iirc it updates around midday when the stats pages are unavailable for a while. Though I'm sure it updates at night at some point to :shrug:

I see. Would have though it'd update everything at the same time.

I have enlisted, my E6850, q9400, qx6700 and the q9550 100% cores and 100% time lol all crunching for cancer atm - till i get past the 1 year mark then i'll do more projects again.

I think we passed 4 Million :)

We're at 3,995,582 so we should pass 4million during the next update (between 12pm and 2pm iirc).
I'm hoping to hit the full year on Conquer Cancer in the next 24 hours too w00t.
