The best card now available....but for how long? http://www.guru3d.com/article/geforce-gtx-295-preview/
There are some very conflicting reviews about how much (if any) real world gain teh new Green Team offering has over the x2

Especially with the imminent release of teh 9.1 drivers which apparently show some real nice increases - especially with x2 cards and quad core chips :)
Face it you havent got the best card anymore.....Dont worry i will take that old crap card of your hands so you can buy a gtx295 hehehe
lol
Seriously, especially at the prices, NV haven't done anything to impress TBH and an added bonus ATI have dropped the 4870x2 prices :P
I sent you a pm the other day...cant remember which site saying give me first dibs on your card when you get sick of it ha ha.
Not seen it mate :|
Its prolly gonna be some time I should imagine :(
I am SO impressed with this x2 - 16xAA and 16xHQ AF and still get a solid 120FPS in W@W at 1920x1200 - blows my SLId GTXOC2s away.
Well remember me in the future when you do decide to get rid of it m8 :)
well as my fav game is bf2142, i won't be buying nVidia for a while :(
Hmmm, makes spec'ing a new system all the harder, thought I knew exactly what i wanted but now im stumped again, 4870 x2 or gtx295.... oh dear!
It doesnt really matter what you get....coz in a few months or so they just bring out another card that beats that 1 and so on and so on. Me personally i would go for the 4870 x2 as its cheaper and if you wait a little while i think theyre gonna drop the price.
What mobo u got? cos if ya got if ya got intel chipset you could xfire later aswell unless you gotta a x58 chipset then it really dont matter
Got a 680i mobo at the moment :(
Going for an x58 soon enough though :)
