I have no idea lol!! Literally no clue. But I have just downloaded Corsair link again. Do you use something different?Quote:
What speed are your H100 fans at?
EDIT: just realized the side panel was off too, that wont help lol!! Just put it back on now.
LOL, well I was trying to save on cabling so I just plugged the fans into my motherboards CPU and CPU_OPT headers and have used ASUS's Thermal Radar to lock the fans at 1000RPM, to 1200RPM. PWM Fans going up and down in speed do my head in :S
You can probably do the same with Corsair Link, but don't hold me to that lol. I really should set it up and see what it's like.
Big difference with the side panel back Attachment 1056
Yeah that's much better.
That explains the temps being a touch high lol
Prime95 run on 4.2 Ghz, 1.20 volts and 1600 Mhz for over 6.5 hrs now, with no errors, which is good.
What do you think I should put up next? RAM or CPU?
I am still worried about the memory timings actually.
I've set my fans (H100i ones) at 1000 rpm but what do you set your pump one at? Mines is currently at 2246 which is close on max?!
Attachment 1057
EDIT: I cant actually see where I can change the RPM and the max is 2252, meaning I am only 6 behind the max RPM??
Attachment 1058
Yeah the pump is fine, that's how i have mine.
Given the ram with those timings is rated up to 2400, I would have a look at getting some more out of that.
But it sounds nice and stable now, have you tried any games?
I currently have no internet, so I'm tapping this out on my phone :S
Sorry about the delay.
Yeah just played both BF3 and FIFA 14 without issue.
I have put the ram up to 2000 Mhz, I'll play a couple of games and prime 95 overnight see what happens.
Sorry, have had a nightmare and work has been full on.
So back to the story. I have formatted yesterday as I have had a nightmare, more BSOD across so many different reasons its unreal from cache manager to memory manager to CLOCK_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT and many more.
I also was getting 150+ fps on BF3 and then next time or if I alt tabbed i would get 30 FPS and the game felt like I was walking in quick sand when playing.
SO....basically I raged, uninstalled and re formatted yesterday morning and started again.
I have just run memtest for 22 hours (not through choice!) with no errors.
Next I am going to run prime95 over night with the CPU on 3.5 and memory on 1300 and see what happens.
I do believe there are alt-tab issues with these 320.xx series drivers, amongst MANY MANY others.
Does it do it with SLI disabled?
So were u getting all these errors when the RAM was just at 1800MHz or when it was at 2000Mhz?
