    Default Project Blackout

    Ok I have started my latest project on my Kandalf LCS case!

    The following photos show the progress,


    Ok this is the before pic...



    Side off it looks so messy..


    Ok stripped it right down, took front cover off (undid 6 screws and away it comes), Oh and Ya Mother that middle bar dont come off..


    1st coat of satin black also sprayed back plate

    Shouldve got the paint i have m8 i could do about 5 cases with it for a fiver....and the bar will come off with a angle grinder and a pair of plyers ha ha. its amazing what a lick of paint does...starting to look better already.

    M8 its such a big case ive used 500ml of spray paint so far, i need another can to spray the cages, sides of dvdrw drive etc....Oh and i went with acrylic paint in the end..

    Ive put power supply and mobo back in and it looks sweet....

    And that bar is supporting my PSU

    Ive just got a enermax galaxy 1000 watt off Lloyd, so if i do get that case i will probs leave it in aswell ...its huge and weighs the same as 2 baby goats. never actually weighed any baby goats, but i imagine there quite heavy. so will need all the support it can get.

    Yeah 1000w psu's are pretty big!!

    Im putting mine back in even though i have to manually switch it off at back as it still keeps running power to gfx cards and water pump even though windows has shutdown. Reason im putting it back in is because it has 4 dedicated pci-e cables (bloody warrenty had run out lol)

    One of my rigs does that but, i think it's a built in function as it shuts itself down after 10 mins

    I initially thought my mobo was screwed, but one night i left it and within 10 mins it shut down, my PC was completely watercooled though nb, sb and mosfets. I think it's so things don't overheat after shut down

    The back of case, I am really pleased with how this is looking.


    Front of case and right side of case put back on.


    All in im really pleased with the way this is coming along just gotta put the rest of the hardware in and sort the wiring out before I put the watercooling back in.
