Hi guys a friend of mine in the UoR clan asked me to build him a PC, here are the specs.....

Antec 300
Corsair 650watt
Intel e7300
Asus P5Q Pro
4Gb Corsair 6400
ATI 4870 1 GB
Samsung F1 750GB
Samsung DVD-RW

nice specs....is it gonna be clocked....if so what cooler? I would stretch to a antec 900 if possible....superior air cooling ftw.

yeah i was trying to fit a 900 in the budget but couldn't, the 300 turned up yesterday - I was pleasently pleased
No i don't think he'll be clocking, I'm gonna put a zalman 9700 on there for him as i have one knocking around

No need for a 900 then if its gonna be standard....300 will do the job nicely.
I wish i had have got a 300 for jacks rig build.....saying that he will be getn my 900 when i get my new case.
Nice graphics card choice btw.

the 300 i quiet good on the fan front, 1x 140mm in the top, 1x 120mm at the back, 1x 120mm in the side panel and 2x 120mm fans in the front.
All in all a nice little case
Yeah i just put a 4870 1GB in one of my rigs and am very pleased with it As warlords main game is bf2142 nvidia was out of the question for the time being

How much are the p5q pro mobos?...looks identical to my p5k.

unfortunatly at this moment in time i'm still waiting for the GFX card and the RAM

EDIT: No they didn't get here today - i've been assured that i'll have them tomorrow

You could have sprayed the inside of the case black first.

If i had more time I might have, but the case doesn't have a window, just a fan on the side panel, so i'm gonna put a LED YATE LOON on the panel.

Anyway the RAM and graphics card finally got here a minute ago, so i'll be finishing soon
