I have, until recently, always used AVG

But a few weeks ago had trouble with it updating / new definitions etc - tried uninstalling and reinstalling which worked, for a few days, then the same again :|

After a bit of research i liked the look of THIS Regular (hourly most days) updates, nice GUI and no probs so far

That would depend on your definition of free and your ethical standpoint on the use of P2P networking sites and software piracy :P

I put it to you (the defendant) that you did actually obtain a copy of the said product fraudgelently.
And also that you are known to the public as a trouble maker and a scumbag how do you plead?

Are there any other products you have obtained illegally? If so now is the time to come clean....you can pm me them and i will peruse them at my leisure..... These will be taken into consideration and will later reflect your compliance in this matter.

It allways helps if people keep things up todate! I have never had a virus pass Avast yet (looks for a bit of wood to touch) Most viruses caught are down to users lack of knowledge of the net... Last LAN I was at a virus hit Multiplays server and took out 300 people at the LAN and not one of the antivirus programs stopped it. (Thankfully I was nowhere near them lol)

yeah very true, my sophos used to update all the time as it was installed on my server, i let it update when ever it wanted, then it served the updates to my PCs. At the time Sophos was supposed to be the best
When i replace my server, i'm defo going to buy the Kaspersky package
