    Default What has been the best/worst piece of hardware you've ever brought?

    As the title says guys, share your fave and most hated pieces of hardware that you have purchased.

    I'm hoping this will help us buy the right stuff and avoid the crap thats out there.

    Me personally, I've hated nearly every headset I've purchased up til now. I always got the cheapy ones (?5 - ?15) and they all seem to die within a month or so.
    I now use a fatal1ty headset (jacks not usb) and its a nice piece of kit. ?25 I think it was but it's lasted longer than all my others combined.

    I also really like my logitech MX518 mouse. Never had a problem with it and think its a great device.

    Thats a toughy....ive always done my homework when it comes to buying anything. only thing i can say was a bit naff is the mic on my sharkoon majestic headphones...wire snapped inside. would really like a new 1 tbh....got a tiny little jack plug on the end....cant seem to find a replacement for it?

    Best bit of kit i bought was my XFX 8800 Ultra. (was a sad day when i sold it)

    Worst was my VIC 20 (thats a lie at the time it was great)

    yeah my EVGA 8800GTX's Superclocked was a great buy, still have one running in a PC in my PC room - i gave the other one to Bully already fitted with EK Block.
    But yeah fantastic card - loved it
