    Default Software You Always Install??

So what is the software u ALWAYS install??
For me it's Directory Opus and my latest edition is The KMPlayer, as with The KMPlayer it has pretty much every codec, so u can play mkv files straight after install. No need to install powerDVD for some codecs and nero for others - it's great.
Directory Opus is a Windows Exploreer replacement, it handles pictures, zip files, and ftp, check it out... http://www.gpsoft.com.au/ you can get a free trial.
I wanted to let you know about these great apps, so what are your favs?

Yeah i also always install Spybot and Spywareblaster, but i use either Kaspersky or AVG 8 Pro for antivirus. And if i'm using x86 XP or Vista i use Spyware Doctor - that is imo the best spyware app.

    Comodo Firewall 3.0 (freeware)
    http://www.personalfirewall.comodo.com/

there are now some additional non-free features, absolutely useless. Just consider the free version as a 100% full version, absolutely amazing firewall. I've been a member in their forums for almost two years now, I really trust them. Just give it a try :thumbup1:
(just one thing, be sure to deactivate UAC in Vista before you install CFP, or you'll get into troubles after rebooting; you can always reactivate UAC after the first reboot, but tbh it's useless, CFP comes with a HIPS - you can discard the HIPS install if you don't want it though)

Other software that I always install:

Avast, SpywareBlaster, CCleaner, AVG anti-spy (just the free version / non-resident) for scanning and removal of malware if any...(have used Spyware terminator in the past, but it doesn't seem to like Vista very much, or Vista doesn't like it:wink but honestly, I've almost never had any infection on the PC, because:

    FIREFOX FTW!
