    Default Abit iX38 QuadGT

    Ok here is me question! Ive pretty much allways have nvidia chipsets this board is my first Intel Chipset (well since ive been overclocking anyway)

    Which of these should i disable/enable in the bios?
    Thermal Control
    Limit CPUID MaxVal
    C1E Function
    Execute Disable Bit
    Virtulization Technology
    EIST Function

    You want to disable the following...

    Limit CPUID MaxVal (on mine it's auto)
    C1E Function
    Execute Disable Bit
    Virtulization Technology
    Thermal Control - what options do u get for that one? Just enable and disable?
    Vanderpool Function (If there)

    I'm not sure about the others (EIST), i think it's an Abit thing. But i could be wrong, i will see what i can find out for ya.

    On another note.... What do u think to the Razor Trantula? I love mine (all 3, lol) i have small hands and also use the arrow keys so the "shift" button overlapping is essential for me. But that aside i think it's the best keyboard i've had (owned G15 rev 1 & 2, Lycosa and various Logitech and MS)

    Ive just found out what the EIST stands for Enhanced Intel SpeedStep technology, and i know that needs to be disabled.
