    Default Windows 7 Compatibility List (GAMES)

    Here's a small list of games I have tested, and know to work without issue on Windows 7 Ultimate x64


    • Battlefield 2142*
    • Battlefield 2
    • Call of Duty 4 Modern Warefare

    Tested on...
    Intel QX6700
    Maximus II Formula (P45)
    8GB GEIL DDR2 RAM
    ATI 4870 1GB (Catalyst 9.10)
    Samsung 750GB (ICH10)
    X-FI Fatality (Driver 2.18.0013)

    *However Battlefield 2142 Deluxe, wouldn't run on Vista x64, so I assume that it will do the same on Windows 7. So unless your run XP buy BF2142 and Northern Strike seperately.

    I will install a couple of other games soon, but it seems if it worked on XP/Vista you'll be fine with 7

    I'm getting a stutter on cod 4 that wasn't there on vista....dont know if it defo is w7. Maybe punkbuster got issue with w7 or my creative sound drivers....who knows....ive gave up after hours and hours of reinstalling pb and drivers etc.

    finished installing Windows 7 ultimate retail and played this morning with no issues. have you tried all the config tweaks ? http://www.limitededitioncomputers.c...38&postcount=1

    done the pb sleep and its at maxpackets 100. havent done any of the in game ones tho. Tried a few more and same.

    you can also just change them all in the config file.

    But i had no probs before changing config file.

    I just done the config file changes. I have a feeling its punkbuster as it pulses every 3 seconds which is what pb does when checking files etc. Funny it didnt do it on fista tho?

    Did that....still same...guy on ibg clan says its a pb issue....and theres no fix for it.
