Default Project: 2 - "The Credit Crunch"

    Hey Guys,

Aint been in the "area" for a whirl since my last build i kinda went to the Mac Side of things... and really dont regret it what so ever! but i thought its time to come back and create a new Super Computer... Litterally!

CPU: Intel i7 975 Extreme Edition
    Memory: 12gb (6x 2gb) Corsair Dominator GT 1866mhz
Mobo: Asus P6T7 WS SuperComputer Motherboard
Graphics.... shant go there currently only GTX280 needs upgrading seriously!
    Case: Corsair's Case
    PSU: Enermax 1250watt Modular!
Optical Drive: LG BluRay SuperMulti Reader / Writer
Sound Card: Asus Xonar HDMI 1.3

Cooling: im currently looking at a Phase change solution any one got any ideas?

Graphics: Ideas needed as well worth getting 3x GTX295's? Worth Waiting? or get the ATI 5970's and put them in Quad Crossfire?

    Any Advice would be cool!

    Richard

I would go ATI myself, let me know how u get on with that motherboard, coz that's what i'm planning to get, I can't decide between that and the ROG x58

Phase change, I would probably go with Asetek Vapochill, not sure what their product line up is these days, but I used to run a Vapochill LS and a Vapochill XE both very good product with very good support, and support forum

If your gonna overclock id think of just the 6GB of memory

Also Dont bother with 2x5970s they dont appear to yeild much (if any) return extra over CF5870 or as a max 3x5870s

Nice rig though - and yes, pics are a must

PC is Built - Minus the Phase Cooling and Graphics Cards, so only got a shitty old EVGA GTX280 at the moment...

Brought a LG LED Monitor for my Display.... and its SICK! really good colours! 2ms Responce Time, Highly Recomended!

    Updates to come + Pictures!
