    Exclamation Email Issues & Downtime

    Hey guys,
As you know we have had a long standing issue with sending emails to MSN/Live and Hotmail accounts, after a good 3 months of emails to them we got unblocked.
Earlier this week an email was sent to one of our members (not to an MSN account) to which i got a failed send email back on further investigation one of our ip's are on 2 blacklists and the other is on about 5, so pretty much all emails are getting failed and returned to sender.
Long story short our host UH-Hosting has a spammy net block, avoid like the plague. I will be buying new hosting over the next couple of days and I will try to get us moved over as smoothly as possible, but if you have any issues getting onto the forum, this is the reason.
I will keep this thread updated as and when things happen.
    Kind regards
    Lloyd

Lloyd you are paying so much for your hosting which is never going to get used. wouldnt it be a more sensible idea to get a cheap package and upgrade as and when you need it?

Well I've just been bitten by going with the "cheaper option" so i want to make sure it doesn't happen again.

Can you post those links for the hosting you use? I closed msn by mistake

    http://www.voxtreme.com

    http://www.eukhost.com/

but i think voxtreme have closed the UK side of business now

EUK are good for support i have found. esp with the live chat utility.
Both run control panel themes and if you go for the reseller hosting then you will have WHM also plus the obvious ability to host multiple websites.

if your more confortable spending out on a higher rate plan to give yourself piece of mind then feel free to do so m8 as it may be worth it personally for knowing your not gonna get bitten again.
