Default Asus Matrix ATI Radeon HD 5870 "Platinum Edition" 2048MB

I like the look of this ...

Asus Matrix ATI Radeon HD 5870 "Platinum Edition" 2048MB

    - Voltage Tweak Technology (Up to 17% performance increase)
    - ASUS Super Hybrid Engine: boost up to 19% GPU performance by reducing 54% power noise
    - iTracker2: the world’s only memory timing adjustment and allow you to save the favorite settings into system and recover
    - Extreme Cooler: 13% Cooler and 22% Stronger Air Pressure with special designed fan
    - ProbeIt: Easily measure the voltage of GPU, Memory and PCI-E bus with the Multimeter
    - Core Clock: 894MHz
    - Memory: 2048MB GDDR5
    - Memory Clock: 4800MHz (Effective)
    - Memory Bandwidth: 153.6GB/s
    - Processing Cores: 1600
    - Bus Type: PCI-Express 2.1
    - Display Connectors: 2 Dual-Link DVI-I, 1 HDMI & 1 DisplayPort
    - HDCP Capable
I do wish Asus would have a decent website - they have no fixed links, so you can't send someone a link

The Extra 1GB of RAM over the standard version will do nothing, or very little. Not worth the extra money.

The Grid. A digital frontier. I tried to picture clusters of information as they moved through the computer.
What did they look like? Ships? Motorcycles? Were the circuits like freeways?
I kept dreaming of a world I thought I'd never see. And then, one day. I got in.

Yeah probs just a couple/few hundred points in 3dmark, but the rest of the package sounds good with the better heatsink, probit and factory oc.
I would be interested to see some independant reviews comparing the coolers but I bet they haven't used the reference PCB design so u can't use a water block
Atleast they're not trying to charge ?1000 for it like they were with that nvidia card they did a while back lol
