    Yeah tell me about it
Shame the writers are still ?140 onwards, but I did notice a 5 pack of 25GB discs was only ?9.99 so that isn't bad.
I'm gonna have to bite the bullet soon

Just got it installed, quality product
What I expect with a samsung drive - Quality build, tray and facia and it's pretty quiet on spin up, gonna see what it's like burning shortly.

EDIT: I nearly forgot the ?50 + software it comes with

yeah it's a blue led strip - looks awesome.
I'm going to make a little part video review, and show some tray mechanisms. Nothing worse than spending a bit extra for what you think is a quality drive only to find it has the cheapest tray out there
    *cough* Sony!

EDIT: If anyone see's Samsung Blu-Ray writers please make a thread or add here. Thanks

    Default Software Package

    You get
    • Blu-Ray Disc Suite
    • PowerProducer
    • PowerDVD 8 (6CH OEM)
    • Power2Go
    • Instant Burn
    • MediaShow 4
    • Label Print
    • BD Advisor
All OEM so slightly cut in functionality, somethings get unlocked after you have registered the app. You have to register each component though

I did notice PowerDVD 10 has MKV playback now
I bet WinDVD still sucks lol

    Anyway a good software bundle

9.5/10 (I took half a point off as they haven't got any writers yet lol)
