Default Would my motherboard support this graphic card ?

Hi guys, I've just got a quick question, would my Asus P5K SE support Sapphire HD 6790, 1 GB, PCI-E ?

    Thanks !

Yeah it would "support" it, but not to it's fullest spec as the motherboard uses and older version of PCI-Express.
A friend of mine is running a ATI HD5850 on a P35 motherboard and his PC is fine.

Something I would check out is if your PC came with that motherboard was it supplied with a good enough power supply to run that card.

If I was you I would be looking to upgrade motherboard , CPU and RAM, which would probably entail getting a decent case and PSU too, see previous paragraph.

You should be fine then, assuming it's a good one

    Do Kingston even do PSU's?
The Grid. A digital frontier. I tried to picture clusters of information as they moved through the computer.
What did they look like? Ships? Motorcycles? Were the circuits like freeways?
I kept dreaming of a world I thought I'd never see. And then, one day. I got in.
