To quote from my build log:

I did have problems with that bloody 320.18 driver again! This time it wouldn't recognize there was an NVIDIA card installed!

Well that's helpful. I had downloaded the 320.18 driver when it was released and it seems the driver for the GTX 770 wasn't included.
So I re-downloaded these 320.18 and they installed fine, no lock ups or anything yet, touch wood.

I have found that the 320.18 would cause...

Display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding and has successfully recovered
at least once a day, usually while watching a TV episode.
I've gone back to 320.08 that came with the card (EVGA GeForce GTX 770 SC ACX) and I haven't had the problem yet.
It has only been 24 hours, so we'll see.

    Default Stability Report 327.23 - GTX 770

    I am well passed 72 hours uptime - 91 Hours 15 minutes.
So the timed TDR's would appear to be fixed, certainly on the EVGA GTX Geforce 770 SC ACX that I have.

    With regards to other cards...

    ASUS GeForce GTX 570 DirectCUII
ASUS GeForce GTX 580 Reference Design & Cooler
    EVGA GeForce GTX 680 Superclock

I haven't had any issues either.

I couldn't get on with them mate. It kept crashing and doing much the same as you with the 320.18 ones. I just rolled back now.

What GFX are you using now?
I did do a complete uninstall of previous drivers from

Control Panel -> Programs and Features

and then used DDU in safe mode to make sure.
