I was just looking through the driver CD for the Asus P8Z68 DELUXE and noticed you get a copy of Norton Internet Security 2011 on it Bonus
I assume it will upgrade to NIS2012 once installed, but that is a really good addition. Thanks Asus

I'd like to put one of these Asus BW-12B1LT Blu-Ray Writers in here, but it's not a priority atm.
    Best looking BD Writer

This Pioneer BDR-S06XLB 12x BluRay RW also sounds good

This Internal BD/DVD/CD Writer will write up to 12x on BD-R (25 Gbytes) and BD-R DL (50 Gbytes) media. It allows users to author high-definition Blu-ray Disc content while also delivering the ability for high-capacity data storage.
    Key Features

    - Max Write Speed: 16x DVD, 12x BD-R, 40x CD-R
    - Max Read Speed: 16x DVD, 8x BD, 40x CD-R
    - 4MB buffer memory
    - Serial ATA (SATA) interface
But both of them are just SATA, they could have done SATA2

Our supplier had the Asus in stock, then it was due on the 20th Jan 2012, and now they aren't showing it
I'm looking at this Plextor PX-LB950SA or the Pioneer now. I'll probably go with the Pioneer as it's a pretty good price.

I just installed the Asus Blu-Ray writer ... and WOW so quiet!
The "stealth" front panel looks awesome, but they have also included a standard black bezel too.
There's a good software bundle from CyberLink too.

The only thing missing in the Asus BLU-RAY package is a blank BLU-RAY disc, R or RW

I couldn't get used to the look of the ASUS BLU-RAY writer so I changed the bezel to the standard style (that comes with it). The whole unit feels more solid with the standard bezel.

I got some more black 3 pin fan connectors now so I'm going to braid the 140mm fan in the roof when I get a minute
I can't remember what the format of the front fan is, ie normal 3 pin and extra molex power for the LEDs or what. I will see if I can do that at the same time.

I'm very tempted to put another 120GB Corsair Force 3 in here. It would obviously mean another reinstall
I'll see how things go over the next month or so, as I need to finish of the QX6700 system too. It needs a GFX upgrade as it still has a 4870 1GB lol.
