I told him he could have my antec 900 when i get my new case...he says he likes his better ha ha. ...bless him. he likes the the lights.....the case fans are far to noisy especially the window fan.
Give it a while and im gonna have to tell him the case is crap and the antec is the way forward ha ha.

Well jacks rig didnt even get going...spent 2 days trying to sort it out....eventually found the problem but no cure...the problem started hitting people about a year ago and ive read loads of so called solutions but cant find a definate fix for this......heres a link to the problem.....http://www.google.co.uk/search?q=dis...ient=firefox-a
Basically it just freezes all the time when playing games....and screen goes black for a few seconds and then the error message which is on the link.

The main game i play is bf2142, and the last two driver version from nVidia for my cards (and it seems any card) have had issues - when u die the screen goes (flickers) black. So i'm seriously considering changing all my cards to ATI. If the drivers don't work right in BF2142 i don't want to know
COD4 was fine but - i don't care about that, BF2142 has to work right
Suffice to say I getting very piss*d off with nVidia

    What os are you running?
And what drivers are you running? the ones that came with the card?

    Did you try THIS?

If vista (and pre SP1) I let it install sp1 before installing any drivers, and i try and stop it install the ones from ms update

Vista ultimate...and the latest 8800 gts/512mb ones....even tried the older ones....it worked fine on my pc with same os and drivers...and i didnt let windows install the drivers i done it myself...and then let windows do it.. yes ive read that and loads of others the abit motherboard was recommended by a guy who works at overclockers uk to match the E5200 chip....apparently theyre a good match.

Hmmm the only thing i can think of is to download the latest intel chipset driver, maybe a driver in that is misbehaving.

Latest INTEL Drivers (used it yesterday on my P45)

have you formatted the disk and tried a fresh install after finding this issue? I often find myself installing twice when i'm using new hardware, after having a DOH moment or a niggling problem, if u see what i mean.

Also are you still using that PSU? Maybe not getting enough pwr?
