I always found this tool useful nHancer it says only compatable with 400 series atm but hopefully it will be updated soon

I found it because I was having issues with NVIDIA's new (at the time 2 years ago minimum) drivers for the 8800GTX and Battlefield 2142 with AA - cloaked people would appear as a black person shaped block.
Suffice to say setting the graphics settings in nHancer worked a treat.
