    My old rig with evga 680i mobo and 9800GTX
    Old Rig

    New Rig with ABIT QuadGT iX38 Mobo and HD4870
    New Rig

    CPU Clocks same on both 9800GTX was overclocked HD4870 is still stock

    Yeah the cpu result can push the score right up with a Quad, though i must say thats a really nice OC u have there

    U can see comparing mine to your score that 3dmark 06 does not pick up tri-sli as my 2 cards are scoring more than yours! your cpu is whats pushing your score higher. Unlike 3dmark vantage where it does pick up tri-sli and that shows in your scores.

    Unhappy bah

    Well im peed off coz when i first got my 8800gts 512mb i got a clocked score of 16364...now i cant cant clock it as high coz 3d mark 06 freezes so the best i can get now is 15818?
    Only thing ive changed since the both scores is ive went from windows xp x32 to xp x64?

    Oh yes and also when i click on your links to all your scores theres no score....and when i log in i just get mine?

    Ok finally got my cpu back upto 4ghz i seem to have a fsb hole at 450fsb so had to settle for 445fsb but moving up 200mhz has improved score by 800 points! I still think my cpu is bottle necking gfx cards

    Well with the new 4870x2 i got 19483 first run at 3.6 on the chip and no overclocking to the card - Beats the old GTX 8800SLI Score

    I did boot at 3.8 on the chip but it shat out into the second test - ill try again soon with more vs to teh chip and some card overclocking

    Nice score but i thought it would get higher score than my 2 x 4870's maybe with a oc it will break the 20k mark

    You should be able to get over 2k m8...my pal did with 2x ultras...but his q6600 was at 4.0ghz so that probs helped.
