24" monitor

Hi was thinking about going to a 24" monitor up from my 22" samsung syncmaster and seen this ......http://accessories.euro.dell.com/sna...212&lid=122756

Im also getting the 4870 1gb so i think the 1920x1080 is easily achievable....Any thoughts?

Yeah i've been looking at new monitors coz i'm sick of looking down on my current samsung, so i'm defo getting a height adjustable stand this time. Plus i have 2 thunder flies around the centre of the screen

mmm that is nice, an extra ms on the response 6ms instead of 5ms - i'll obviously notice that

Maybe if your name was clark kent you might just notice a difference between 6/5ms

Also check out the glossy hp models....i seen 1 in pc world the other week with about 10 other monitors and it stood out so much...the colours were so much vibrant and it looked sharper too....only thing with the gloss front is the glare from the sun in your room...easier to clean tho.

Yeah i love gaming on my NEC 20" 5ms with a glossy screen, and thats coming from a samsung 22" with 2ms.
I need to have a look through the new NEC models

it has 10,000.1 contrast ratio....will this make the picture visibly better than the dell or not?

Got my new sammy T240 yesterday, paid ?250 for it from an amazon marketplace shop, arrived ahead of schedule and in perfect condition

Looks stunning in every way, and its probably the best upgrade i've ever made

Outperfoms the Hp panel and is £70 cheaper + dvi + 2msc etc.

DHL knocked on my door today with what was supposed to be my lovely new monitor....it was a acer laptop....refused it and phoned pixmania and they said when it was returned to FRANCE then they would send me a monitor out? Grrrrrr.

well i phoned pixmania again and they said they have to wait for the laptop to arrive back in france before they give me a refund......i was like wot???? I dont want a refund i want a monitor....they said because i refused it they have to refund me my money back?? Why would i accept the item, it had a picture of a laptop on the box and was half the size?
So i now have ordered another one through amazon and saved nearly £10 by doing it.....this is turning into an epic.
