Its actually nickel plated copper, so u get the same temps but nickel looks better (IMO)
And IIRC it doesn't react to water like copper does ![Thumbup1](images/smilies/thumbup1.gif)
EDIT: But having the all metal block (copper/nickel-plated cpper) will be intersting to see what (if any) performace increase you will get over the standard Acetal top
