Its 18.2 i think....it was a toss up between the canon 600D and the Nikon D3200 which has 24 MegaPixels which was £50 cheaper, but i wanted one with the flippy out LCD screen for movies etc which the Nikon doesnt have.....also having more megapixels above 16mpx doesnt really matter unless your gonna blow images right up etc which im never gonna do.Originally Posted by Lloyd_mcse

@ TB.... yeah i thought i had a proper camera with my fuji 12mpx compact camera when i first bought it, then wondered why the pictures werent as good as my old canon ixos 4mpx compact lol.
These DSLR cameras are amazing.....quite pricey tho but then again you only get what you pay for.
only had it a day and TB has sown the seed of having a wide angle lens for outdoor use.....omg they are expensive.
