Have you seen those fans with the golf ball indentations on the fan blades? Do they actually increase the flow or is it just a gimmick?

IMHO - Gimmick, as a kneejerk reaction, but that's coz i use Sythe 1600rpm Ultra Quiet, and i don't see anything being as quiet as those, with the same cfm

I will buy a couple and test them - have u got a link, I will make a thread for fans in the general hardware section
