Nice - what are the temps like compared to the 6600 ?

And can you see much difference between the two systems ?

Temps are lower m8 48c load........ i use crysis warhead as my visual benchmark and i have to say i was blown away by the glossy goodness of it all. I had it on enthusiast, and it was like being there. was a bit laggy when the action got going, but was the best ive seen it tbh.
apps load more quickly and likes of ccleaner etc are twice as fast. But apart from that me q6600 rocks....but it is a go step version so that's probs why.
If im gonna be frank here i really dont think the amount of money is justifiable for what you get out of it, but if it future proofs my rig then fair enough.
I was gonna say that buying another graphics card would have been a cheaper and better option....but 2x 4870x2???? probs wouldnt notice a difference tbh.....as the 4870x2 on its own is enough graphics power for the most demanding games.
