I roll with 400x9 for a 24/7 OC :P
I got 20,469 with a tad more OCing - not got the hang of this ATI lark yet though :|

Well got my 4870 1gb installed today, done a 3dmak 06 run wth cpu at 3.6ghz and gpu at stock using Vista ultimate, and got 15859..... got 16364 with me 8800gts 512mb on xpx32 and 15818 on xpx64?
So i set my core clock too 790 and memory clock to 1000 and went for a overclocked run. then i got graphics sguares running crazy on my screen and then bsod.
The overclock i went for is what some people are using for a 24/7 clock on a 4870 512mb card??
Any ideas anyone?
I am in the process of getn a new psu...Coz i did think that my cheapo EZcool 700 watt psu might struggle running this card and also the antec 900 fans and and lights and overclocked q6600 at 1.5v.
Or is it another problem i could have over looked.
It happened when i changed my resolution from 1680x1050 to 1280x1024 as suggested for benchmarking.

Yeah could well be a power issue, i have absolutly no idea about ezcool psus so can't be sure. But for overclocking you defo want to start from a solid a base as possible - Enermax and Seasonic (Corsair) are pretty much the best, though i'd consider a Be Quiet or a PC Power & Cooling PSU (who are owned by IIRC Coolermaster or OCZ)
